Holistic Development

Enriching your child’s development involves multiple facets, which is why we enhance our educational curriculum with a diverse range of extracurricular activities designed to suit various age groups. Our co-curricular program enhances learning, enabling your child to explore strengths, foster interpersonal skills, boost confidence, build character and enjoy some all-round fun.

On-Country Learning

We ensure that all Jarjums have access to on-country learning and deepening their knowledge about our culture through our teachers and elders. We have weekly culture classes with local Indigenous cultural groups or local elders, cultural incursions, and excursions visiting places of interest on Bundjalung land or surrounding areas.

Celebrating the Arts

We have various programmes throughout the year dedicated to the arts in line with the curriculum. Students experiment with various mediums through our Visual Arts programme, while our Music programme offers opportunities to play instruments, sing, and perform. Additionally, our dance and drama workshops provide Jarjums avenues for self-expression and confidence-building.

Junior Rangers Programme

Students connect with the land through environmental stewardship learning how to care for country while gaining a deeper appreciation of its significance and natural beauty. They enjoy hands-on learning in land and water management, environmental data collection, and cultural studies.

Community

Engagement Programme

We are dedicated to fostering strong ties with our community. Through our Community Engagement Programme, students have the opportunity to make a positive impact through service, leadership, and advocacy. Whether it's volunteering at local charities, organising community events, or participating in awareness campaigns, our students develop empathy, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility that extends far beyond the classroom.
